WHAT WE DO
We provide a welcoming community space offering specialist advice and practical support services. We help people develop their confidence, skills and knowledge.
Drop In Services
Weekly drop in to stay in regular contact with service users and support them with information, advice and advocacy. This is a General Advice service where we provide advice, information and assistance on a wide range of issues including destitution, housing, debt, welfare benefits, health, legal advice and asylum support. The advice is given by a team of volunteers, and operates five days a week. The objective is to provide basic support and assistance to service users, resolve queries, signpost to external services, and refer to specialist in-house projects and partner agencies where appropriate.
Wellbeing Activities
Weekly sessions which encourage creativity, English language practice, confidence building and friendship. Participants meet on a weekly basis to share skills, raise aspirations and boost self-esteem through a variety of activities:
Zumba, Dance, Music, Art, Pottery, Yoga, Confidence Boosting and Stress Reduction sessions.
We use a person-centred approach, recognising the uniqueness of each person, as well as the diversity of cultures and beliefs.
Counselling Services
Our mental health team is made of bilingual staff who could support clients in different languages.
